Grade 2 : Planting Mung Beans- What Plants Need to Grow

Grade 2 students enjoyed a fun planting activity with mung bean seeds while learning about what plants need to grow—sunlight, water, air, and soil. Through this hands-on task, they discovered the importance of soil type, watering properly, and how plants respond to sunlight.

Grade 4: Exploring Flowering, Non-Flowering, Monocots & Dicots

Grade 4 students explored the two main types of plants: flowering and non-flowering. Using worksheets and plant samples, they observed how flowering plants produce blooms, while non-flowering plants like ferns and mosses reproduce differently.

They also learned to identify monocot and dicot plants by examining leaves and roots—noting that monocots have parallel veins and fibrous roots, while dicots have net-like veins and taproots. With magnifying glasses, students recorded leaf patterns and root types.

Grade 2: Recycling Fun – DIY Pencil Holder

Our Grade 2 students learned the value of recycling by turning used materials into something useful! Using tissue paper rolls, they created their own pencil holder cases. This fun craft taught them how to reuse everyday items while sparking creativity and caring for the environment.
